Whidbey Moving and Storage (WMS) is part of an interesting history that goes back more than 100 years.
The company came from the services provided by Oak Harbor Freight Lines (OHFL) in the early 1900’s. OHFL was founded by Henry Vander Pol in 1916 and provided freight services to and from the island. In 1981 the moving and storage portion of the business was sold to Lee Bennett and Dwayne Jansen, employees of OHFL, and was named Whidbey Moving and Storage, Inc. Lee and Dwayne owned and operated the company, providing unmatched moving and storage services for the residents of Whidbey Island and surrounding areas.
Thirty five years later, in 2016, Lee and Dwayne chose to retire and sold the company to Matthew and Connie Freeborn.
Today Whidbey Moving and Storage is family and veteran owned and operated and is dedicated to providing expert moving and storage services for your family and friends!
